COOU branch of ASUU kicks against resumption of academic activities in the school
Members of the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) Chukwu Emeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University (COOU) branch has said they will not return to the university to carry out their duties as academic activities resume in the institution.
This was contained in a statement signed by the chairperson and the secretary of the union. The union noted that the national body has not suspended the ongoing strike
The chairman of ASUU in the institution, Prof Okey Aniebo who addressed journalists urged parents not to bother bringing their wards to the institution as it would be a waste of time; adding that the union will not take part in lectures or any academic activities during the ongoing strike.
